Mick McCarthy Storytelling Competition – Entries Opening Soon
Entries will soon open for the Mick McCarthy Storytelling Competition, proudly part of the Sean McCarthy Festival ✍️
This much-loved event celebrates the great Irish tradition of storytelling and the art of the seanchaí, welcoming storytellers to share tales that entertain, inspire and bring audiences together.
The competition will feature two categories:
- Junior – Under 18
- Senior – 18+
Whether your story is humorous, heartfelt or drawn from local life and folklore, we invite you to take the stage and share it with us.
